Business Development Specialist

Your Role:

We’re looking for a Business Development Specialist who is passionate about generating new business opportunities and developing long-lasting relationships with clients.

 

Your Responsibilities:

 

  • Support effective territory management through lead generation, prospecting and pipeline management, and scheduling client and prospect calls

  • Manage and respond to inbound requests from clients by diagnosing needs, and then finding and sending relevant case studies and tools

  • Begin to independently own sales conversations and identify business opportunities

  • Supporting the team with developing, implementing, and tracking marketing programs and events

Requirements:

  • Supporting the team with developing, implementing, and tracking marketing programs and events

  • Previous business development, sales, community engagement, communications or marketing experience. Or Prior teaching and or school working experience 

  • Knowledge of the educational system and international education in China

  • Excellent verbal and written communicator

  • English and Chinese proficiency 

  • You are enthusiastic, energetic, and reinforce Otus values in your professional interactions

  • Experience in SaaS and or edtech companies is a plus

  • A strong professional network of international schools and bilingual schools is a plus
