About The British International School Beijing, Shunyi
The British School of Beijing Shunyi (BSB), a member of the Nord Anglia Education family of schools, is looking to appoint enthusiastic and committed teachers as detailed above to join the Primary school for August 2021. The successful candidate will be an excellent communicator, who gets on well with colleagues, students, and parents. Amongst other things, you’ll be well organised, have a good sense of humour and want to participate fully in the extra-curricular aspects of school life as well as the classroom. You will be responsible for all aspects of teaching and learning, and for encouraging a culture of inspiration, enjoyment, and success. Our staff work co-operatively and enjoy collaborating, therefore good interpersonal skills and enjoyment of teamwork are essential.
BSB is at an exciting stage of its development, having grown very significantly in the past decade and now numbering approximately 1,100 students aged 2-18. About the role
Resilient, organised and entrepreneurial, you will ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the Primary school. We’ll look to you to provide effective leadership and advice to staff, students and parents while inspiring an atmosphere of energy, excitement and achievement. You will also be a key member of the Senior Leadership Team.
A strong communicator, you will possess significant teaching and school management experience. Your proven leadership and people management skills together with your knowledge of the English National Curriculum and curriculum developments will enable you to establish a high-performing culture within the school.
